Hello reader! I see you’ve landed on my little space on the web. I’m EliMarie, I know not many people have that name…I have my mom to thank for that.
I grew up watching films but more so behind the scenes of how films were made. I was fascinated with filmmaking at a young age. When I was 13 I was 100% sure I was going to become a movie producer/director/writer. That became my dream up until my freshman year of college.
College really changed the course of my life. With the digital world growing more and more I decided to change my major to communications in general, instead of filmmaking.
But that didn’t stop my love for storytelling.
In 2016 I decided to do something different. I moved away from home and participated in the Disney College Program. I studied, worked, lived, and breathed Disney during my time in the program. It was a learning experience and made me fall in love with Disney (even more than before). Working in that company really changed my perspective on a lot of things. By the way I did graduate with my major in communications.
In late 2018 I was introduced to Kpop. I stumbled upon a video of a drummer doing a cover to BTS “Idol”, I didn’t know it was a BTS song at the time. I simply enjoyed the song. I later found out it was indeed from the Kpop group BTS. From that point on my cousin (who has been a fan of Kpop for several years) guided me into the fascinating world of Kpop.
I opened up my second YouTube channel to learn more about different groups and artists and boy has it been a journey so far. I have learned so much about different cultures, perspectives, and just people in general through music.
I am a firm believer that people should promote the things they love instead of the things they hate. Whether I talk about films or music my goal is to share the things I love online and hopefully encourage others to promote the things they love too.
I believe God has a plan for everyone. I know He’s in the process of writing my story.
So in my blog you’ll get a glimpse of my life and the things I love. 🙂
