I am going to be COMPLETELY honest…I never really liked/cared for Funko Pops. I thought they were cute and all but WHY would someone spend money on a bobblehead?
To make my long story short, after watching Star Wars Clone Wars (the animated TV series), it was clear Ahsoka Tano was my FAVORITE character and I needed some sort of merchandise of her. So during the Star Wars 40th anniversary/celebration they revealed all the Star Wars Funko Pops.
…and that’s when I found out they had Ahsoka Tano.
It took me MONTHS until I finally purchased one. So when I did I bought it through “Her Universe”. Not gonna lie I was actually giddy to open the package.
So I did (I filmed a video, I’ll put it below).
I’ve come to a conclusion. Yes Funko Pops are technically bobblehead type toys. BUT the thing that sets them apart is that they represent the things you love…specifically fandom things.
Well, there you have it.
Btw yes I know not all Funko Pops are bobbleheads.
